Mod Name / Version: British English Language Files

Description: If your forums are aimed at the British public, or you would like to offer international visitors a British version of English, then this simple upload will do the trick.

Apart from correcting the spelling of words like color and favorite, terms such as check the box, or mailing address have been updated to reflect the British words & phrases.

Didn't want to wind too many people up Although I have given a prefered method of installing i.e. change the existing English files to US English

I know Rick did say many moons ago, that if I wrote it up he would add it to the base code Us Brits do like to see words spelt correctly

You know I being American would not get wound up. I know England as small as it is was the start of English persay. This country of mine was a long time ago an English territory. I know my history and give credit where it is due. I think most people use American English since nowadays that is the widely accepted version of English besides I just smile at the FUNNY ENLGISH. Ya all talk funny ya know. But then you say the same of us.

Things just mean things so different.

If you go get pissed you are DRUNK

Now if I am pissed I am MAD

I know 3 foreign languages and you know British English would probally be harder for an American to learn than say German. We just would keep thinking we are spelling things wrong apart from the different meanings.
