I posted this to UBB's Threads Forum so taking Josh Pet's advice I've now come to the experts

Is there an automated way of backing up individual threads in HTML format so they can be viewed offline?

I was thinking along the lines of an offline browsing program which would scan threads on the board and save them automatically to my disk?

There's nothign ready made around here that can do this but if it's something your site needs you may want to ask one of the developers in the "Developers for hire" forum for a bid on writing such an application.

I found a FREE offline browser HT Tracker that does a good job of backing Threads up for archive purposes, many thanks.
