One more question tonight.
we currently have a forum nearing 10,000 members and 500,000 posts. One thing I have seen on other forums is the ability for mods and admins to make user notes os we can keep up with all the wrongdoings of each users. I scanned the mod index and did not catch anything but could have easily skipped it. I guess we are looking for something added to the showprofile section.
If there is not alternative we are simply going to make a hidden forum with a thread for each user as they cause trouble.

I don't think that's an existing hack, but it would be a useful one.

That's what we do at my website. I have a private forum for my staff and I. When a user gets out of hand or is just acting plain dumb, we make a thread in the private forum using their display name as the subject. We then proceed to rant.
