I'm not sure what you mean. The IP address of the poster is already displayed to moderators and administrators.

Yes ours is a tweeked version that has an icon that you highlight over it and get the IP.

Our mods do not really care for that as they want to copy and paste.

of course since you are not a mod it would not highlight for you but the IP image shows. Works just like the text tag on an image.

Best plan is to compare your tweeked version with the original files, and amend where necessary - or find the hack that you installed, and work backwards to un-install it.

Yes JC installed it on the site. I can't uninstall anything on it myself. I will ask him if he knows what the code is. He was not online at the time.

Can I suggest you visit his forum/site to discuss his hacks.

In the template I would change this:

{$postrow[$i]['IP']}

to this:


<img src="{$config['images']}/whatever.gif" border="0" alt="{$postrow[$i]['IP']}" title="{$postrow[$i]['IP']}" />



Adjust the graphic name as needed.

Then put the graphic in the /images directory inside threads.

Not tested, but I think that's what you are trying to do.

Or I guess you are trying to reverse JC's mod? Then reversing my directions (basically) should do the trick. Look for the image tag for the IP graphic and replace it with that postrow bit.

See, I thought that looked wrong, but I didn't exactly "know" the right answer.
