I cannot get my generic footer to display. This is a site-wide footer, here is the code I am using:

<hr>
<!-- MANDATORY FOOTER STARTS -->
<!--#include virtual="/orn/common/mainfooter.stm" -->
<!-- MANDATORY FOOTER ENDS -->

The hr displays but nothing else. The path is correct. This is just a 6.3 test board for now, url is http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/categories.php?Cat=

Any help appreciated.

Everything else is in Style Tags (or commented out).

Anything between <!-- and --> Won't appear.

Looks like something that needs to be included with ssi?

This code works across our site but not in Threads. I thought Threads supported standard includes?

But are your other pages PHP?

No, html. What do I need to do to make my includes work in PHP?

did you take this line:

<!--#include virtual="/orn/common/mainfooter.stm" -->

and change it to this:

#include virtual="/orn/common/mainfooter.stm"

?

I'm not sure - but see if it works if you place this code directly in the ubbt_footer.tmpl template file - rather than including it in the generic footer.
