a few users inform me they are having a problem with their configuration
running mac 9x and IE 5.1 when they post or edit a post or in PM the screen
is all black. I had them switch to a different style sheet and the proble still
exists except black it is grey.

Any ideas?


Note: I have most of the same mods on my site as you have here
I do not experience any problems in OS X and Safari.

Although you posted this response a few years ago, and since I am new and experiencing the same issue, I thought I would *bump* this up... Yes, my community members who are using Safari on the Mac are experiencing the same issue with our latest 6.5.1 install.

Apparently, from what I have read elsewhere, Safari is not supported by UBB since Safari has some issue with css's. And since UBB Threads relies heavily on css, there are issues (I am paraphrasing from another post I caught elsewhere here).

However, does anyone have any possible overrides or interesting styles that are Safari Mac friendly??? I would so be interested since one of our more frequent and interesting community contributors would prefer using the Mac/Safari/Netscape combo.
