I unbanned a user by going through their profile and clicking the unban this user link. This didn't work although it reported that it did. I had to go through the admin panel to do it?

If it's a bug you might want to report it over at http://community.infopop.net so that it can be indentified and fixed.

I didn't see the "how do I question". Seemed more like a statement. So yeah, if you're asking if you did it right, yes, sounds like you did the right thing. If you post it as a bug, be sure to include what version you are talking about. The banning was reworked in 6.3 so the resolution would depend on what version you're using etc....

Well each action rendered a different result, as if it was intended that way, through the profile it said "user is unbanned" and through admin it said "uid unbanned". It could be that you have to unban through the same channel as you banned, not sure. I hate to report it as a bug and come to find out it's a mod

Nope you're right - it's a bug. It seems to try to unban a hostname other than a username. If you have any other clues to add, I posted it here: http://community.infopop.net/2/OpenTopic...3147#4353093147

Nothing more to add, that about covers it. Thanks.
