I've noticed since I returned from my week long business trip, (where I had no internet access), that now I seem to get randomly logged out of ThreadsDev... I'll be reading along, go to click on another new post and whammo, logged out... it's very frustrating. It's happening both on my office PC and at home. Anyone else having this issue? Or is it just me?

Some of the moderators have reported experiencing this problem too, but no one has come up with a solution yet.

And it only happens to a select few people... very strange indeed. I was logged out here once last week, but that was it. Still haven't pinpointed it.
But any information you can provide, such as OS, browser, time of day it happens, etc can be helpful.

I have been logged out several times in the last week. The most recent time was about a half an hour ago. It only seems to happen when I go from postlist into an actual post. Sometimes I go for I tried using the mycookie tool. No effect. I will watch more closely to see exactly when it happens and report back.

Okay, I just clicked "Main Index" from this thread and it logged me out. Grrrr. Not sure if this makes a difference, but I have the Sidebar turned off. Just throwing more details as I think of them.

When I get back we'll be moving to 6.4. If the glitch with my "spider friendly" stuff still causes trouble, I have some theories on how to solve it. But I'd rather wait and see if moving to 6.4 fixes it.... as we are very hacked here now.... and upgraded from buggier versions of threads with comparison software. So there may be lots of things at play here. I'm going to start clean with 6.4.

I guess that means it is coming along very well I'm actually going to be waiting a while before I upgrade from 6.3.x to 6.4. I've just got so many mods that I'm going to wait for their authors to verify they still work w/ the new version of threads. At least I won't have to worry about the avatar mod or the birthday mod anymore. I wonder how long it will take Dalantech to upgrade his templates for 6.4? Getting back on topic: I've also been logged out randomly. I just always assumed it was something to do w/ the college campus computers not taking kindly to students wasting time on message boards.

Hi,
Not sure if this is the case here, but I get complaints every now and then that people log in, but then still cannot post (and get the message that they are not logged in).
This problem almost always seems to be related to the date / time on their PC being set wrong.
Sanuk!
