I asked my possible new host about UBB and whether or not they allowed it. They replied via email with []UBB is allowed, but the DB_File method of storing the database is not.[/]

I am not aware of what that extension is for. DO any of you have an answer for whether or not Threads database will work on that?

As long as they have MYSQL Threads will work. They are most likely talking about UBB and the flat file method.
