I am looking for a way to bill visitors for access, and to manage members

I have seen amember integrated with threads and it seemed to work well, I even helped out a bit by making it possible to change the user color and title depending on the group they are in (how much money they paid). Unfortunately I don't think the UBB.threads integration has been released, but I can ask they guy if he's willing to sell it to you.

My partner is installing this at the moment. We pretty much have the aMember stuff working with Authorize.Net, and once done he will integrate UBBT into it.

From what I understand it is fairly painless.

I use amember with threads and it works great, they have a threads plugin that they offer, the support from amember is the best I have seen from any software company, except for threads of course.
