I get a problem saying that "The host you are trying to send the input from is not a valid host. "
What has happened?
Also, when I click the entrance button I get the log in screen...

Soundss like you have referer set to ON under the config, and your firewall is restricting access to the forums.

OK one problem down... Now in the spotlite profile box adn some other areas, some of the images are messed up or broken. I uploaded them both in binary and ascii and then even tried it in automatic mode to try and get the flies to work. I set the permissions to 666 for the files in graemlins and icons and the directories are set to 777. I noted on some fo the bad gif's that the file size was lower then the origianl I was uploading and I cant seem to get it to accept the proper filesize...

Are you sure you uploaded the images in binary mode? I downloaded a couple that don't display, and Paint Shop Pro reports an error trying to read those files.

funny thing is that before I upload them, they look fine. After I upload them in Binary, the same ones are always bad. Its always spotlight.gif, and the poor greamlins. Earlier I ahd some of them working.
My images folder is permissions 777, the graemlins folder is 777 as is the icon folder. The individual files in the folders are 666 permissions.

well I got most of the freamlins by merely uploading it agianf or about the umpteenth time today. The spotlight.gif and some fo the ubb code within the posts made before the move are gone... you can look at the one in the entrances called herader details. ::sigh:: and the graemlins dont animate properly.... ????

I would suspect that somewhere your actually uploading in ascii. Try deleting the gramlins directory and contents and reuploading in binary. Make sure permissions are set to 777 and see how things go.

You can turn off that in your config file.
Most likely in your CSS file search for the .small tag and check to see what the color tag is set to. Most likely yours is #000000 set this to #ffffff
