It's 777 and has worked before today, a user alerted me of it and when I try it works but when he tries he get's that error. I also had him confirm the size and it is allowed.

Have you checked if your provider did any changes to your php installtion?

Have you tried becoming that user and attempting the upload? Are they able to upload another file for thier avatar?

Well, I just uploaded an avatar at your site. The only thing that I can think of is that either it is the file, or maybe it has something todo with a corrupted cookie. I would say that to have them try using the MyCookie tool to toss their threads cookies, and if it still doensn't work, have them email you the pic and try uploading the file as that user. If you can't then try to upload it as yourself. If you can't upload it, then you know that it is the file.
