Much more difficult than the upgrade to 6.3 was. 6.4 will be a super upgrade, but I think getting everything all working together again and rehacking from the ground up is going to take me several hours. I'll be happy if it's only six Waiting for all the mods to get updated and/or rewritten is going to keep me on 6.3.x even longer.

Yeah, I did a hacked site the other night and it was like 4 or 5 hours. I'm holding off for here for a while though.... as we get more mods rewritten it'll be easier.

You guys are lucky, you only need to merge the hacks. I additionally spend most of the time to translate the new language strings, split up some strings into two if needed, change the source accordingly... So don't complain!

My beta site is at http://www.drumlines.org/betathreadsIt may be broken here and there, but I'm still working on hacking it and experimenting with some new stuff. I've been busy fixin' it up and updating hacks to pave the way. Hopefully, as soon as the final 6.4 is released, I'll be able to roll out 6.4 at my site right away.

haha, speaking of upgrading, I'm still on 6.3, haven't even upgraded to 6.3.1 or 6.3.2 And I have so many hacks... and hacks of hacks I've done to work with my site... but there are so many features I want (need) in 6.4, I may have to just upgrade and tell my users to STFU and wait

LOL. Jeremy: "Dang it, leave me alone about the site being closed while I update it! Now quitchyer b*tchin' and make me some pie!" But what I'm doing is working on a seperate install that uses the same database. This way, when I'm all "done" I can just rename the folders and voila!

He's not a slacker. It's just that anything over 6.2 isn't allowed on that forum.
