What is Version 6 or Version 5 modification?. I thought modification works in any threads version provided the version of threads is mentioned in the mod itself

Version 6 mods work with UBB.Threads 6.x
Version 5 mods work with UBB.Threads 5.x
They aren't compatible since code changes from version to version. A mod made for 6.3.1 may not nessecarily be compatible with 6.3.2
