I did a quick search and didn't see anything for this so I'll ask. Can someone make a mod that allows users to make their own custom rank after x amount of posts? Thanks!

Yes, but it is by group basis. I'm looking for the ability for any user to change their custom title based on the number of posts they made. For example if you made 100 posts, a new field in your profile to change your custom title appears.

So if I have a Custom Title set to Schmoo Driver and I make 100 posts a new option pops up allowing me to change Schmoo Driver to Charlies Dentist? Or a New Box allows me to type in anything? And why not just use this hack and give people the option to change it whenever they wish? Or restrict it by group or restrict it by posts? Or just leave it the way its setup and if 0 = Newbie and 100 = Expert it automatically changes to Expert when he makes 100 posts? And you can change Newbie and Expert to whatever and the post ammount to whatever?

You could use that hack, and use my Auto Group Change hack to upgrade the users to the group allowed to the group that allows them to edit their title when they get to a certain number of posts.

Gardener has the idea. It's something I've noticed vBulletin Boards do. They even restrict custom avatars until x amount of posts.
