Yeah, I could write a little script - just wondered if someone had done it before I put it together. I had to remove 72 bad rating from about a half dozen users who registered multiple accounts to prop up or take down someones rating intentionally.
Ouch. Yeah I could see writing a script to do this. Is easy enough. If it is just a matter of deleting ratings by a certain user I might just be inclined to use phpmyadmin and delete the ratings right before I deleted the bad accounts or maybe the best way to approach this is the following
I am sure you are going to delete the bad accounts. How bout a LEFT JOIN on the ratings table when a user is deleted and delete all ratings from the said user upon deletion. Should be standard IMO. For that matter I understand why posts are reassigned to anonymous. But should not all instances of that user be deleted EXCEPT THE POSTS. By default we should cleanse the last table message table and ratings table.
