The who's online on the Entrance page no longer shows me the names of the people online. It just gives me the number of members and guests. If I go to the Who's Online page, I can see the names of the people online. Is anyone else experiencing this? I think it started last week. I have tried expiring my cookies and logging back in a couple of times. Still no joy. I am experiencing this with both Moz Firebird 0.7 and IE 6.
I have attached a screenshot of the WOL box on the IIP page.
I thought that it might be 6.4 until I saw this post by eric: https://www.ubbdev.com/forum/showflat...5/o/all/fpart/1 Unless he was holding onto that screen shot for awhile it seems that he still has a list of names in the online box.
I'm pretty sure that I could still see the names when the site was beta2. Not sure about when it changed to b3.
It does who's online at my 6.4b3 beta site, so it definately works. I don't use the last revision of IIP though, with the new poll pal, so there might be something with that version of IIP, but that sounds odd as well. Proably the IIP here is set to show 0 usernames, I get the same look of the who's online pal when I do that.
Well it is, but it is a non-issue. It looks as if the number of users to show in the "Online pal" is set to 0 making it look like this: "16 members and 122 guests have been online with in the last 90 minutes."
Whereas it could look something like this: "16 members (Gardener, JoshPet, Scream, AllenAyres, ericgtr...) and 122 guests have been online with in the last 90 minutes."
Well when I put the setting in IIP to not allow invible users to see the names, nobody but admins could see the names. Once I turned that option off, then regular users could see the names again.
Something must not be detecting if the user is invisible or not.
