The who's online on the Entrance page no longer shows me the names of the people online. It just gives me the number of members and guests. If I go to the Who's Online page, I can see the names of the people online. Is anyone else experiencing this? I think it started last week. I have tried expiring my cookies and logging back in a couple of times. Still no joy. I am experiencing this with both Moz Firebird 0.7 and IE 6.

I have attached a screenshot of the WOL box on the IIP page.

Anyone else experiencing this?

yes Slayer.. also see it on Josh's site it may have to do with the way 6.4 is arranged now so you can't see who is online on the IIP page?

I thought that it might be 6.4 until I saw this post by eric:

Unless he was holding onto that screen shot for awhile it seems that he still has a list of names in the online box.

I'm pretty sure that I could still see the names when the site was beta2. Not sure about when it changed to b3.

I took that screenshot the same day I posted that, didn't mean to cause a stir if I did though.

It does who's online at my 6.4b3 beta site, so it definately works. I don't use the last revision of IIP though, with the new poll pal, so there might be something with that version of IIP, but that sounds odd as well. Proably the IIP here is set to show 0 usernames, I get the same look of the who's online pal when I do that.

Is this still an issue? I don't notice a problem, unless the front page is not seeing you logged in.

For example if you visit the site using https://ubbdev.com - then you would NOT be logged in as we use https://ubbdev.com

The cookies are domain specific. That's about the only thing I can think might be causing you problems.

Well it is, but it is a non-issue. It looks as if the number of users to show in the "Online pal" is set to 0 making it look like this:
"16 members and 122 guests have been online with in the last 90 minutes."

Whereas it could look something like this:
"16 members (Gardener, JoshPet, Scream, AllenAyres, ericgtr...) and 122 guests have been online with in the last 90 minutes."

BTW, 122 guests, that's a whole lot. =]

Hmm... it's set to show 20 names and I see the names. You don't see names Gardener?

Are you guys invisible? If so, you won't see names.

Otherwise I'm a bit confused - you guys aren't seeing the names listed?

If so, I'll need to investigate that.

OK - seems to be a bug with the setting not showing if they are invisible etc....

If I enable that option, regular users don't see the names, so I'll need to look into that for next release.

I don't really follow what the bug is, but if you're on it then that's great. =] I'm not invisible btw.

Well when I put the setting in IIP to not allow invible users to see the names, nobody but admins could see the names. Once I turned that option off, then regular users could see the names again.

Something must not be detecting if the user is invisible or not.

Ah, ok. Maybe the visibility setting has changed in 6.4 or something?
