I'm trying to help out a friend who's been running UBB.Classic and recently upgraded to UBB.Threads.
Unfortunately most of the threads in one forum did not import to UBB.Threads. Some of the threads were very long and the script timed out.
It looks like the import script only runs everything, which is not what I want as the rest of the forums has been used and moved on.
So does anyone know a way of limiting the import script to only affect one forum, and also a way of getting round the problem of importing long threads?
Many thanks for any help!

I think the easiest may would be to import all forums to a clean installation and copy all posts of the particular forum over to your live database when it's done.

As the import script timed out moving this forum over - and he tried several times, even processing one thread at a time - it'd probably not import again. Thanks anyway.

It should be possible to adjust the timeout values of your webserver to prevent the timeouts during the import. If you're not able to change the settings of your webserver, you can install one on your home pc. Do the import with it and upload the database to your host.
