I would like to be able to create accounts for people who can't figure out how to activate there account or are in need of help. Is there a modification that allows a admin to help these folks get past the activation step.

perhaps one that lets me click the activation link or do a full registration for them?

You can set this to 'no' in the cp:

Require users to verify their email before account is activated?

I missed this before somehow.....

You can register them (I think you can go to newuser.php without having to logout). Then run an SQL Query like this:

UPDATE w3t_Users
SET U_Approved = 'yes'
WHERE U_Username = 'whatever'


And that'll set them approved without having to click the link in the email.

I've added the mod that I made a while ago to do this how Approve Users works by listing unapproved users and letting you approve them.
