How do I disable the ability for users to change the subject of a thread in progress?

Also, how do I disable the users choice to mark as edited or not mark as edited??

for the first, the easy thing would be to open newreply.tmpl and delete lines #41-43 - not sure about the second

Yeah, the subject thing would be a bit tougher. You'd have to replace the subject field in newreply.php and addpost.php (if it's a reply and not a new post) with a hidden field rather than a text box, to pass the same subject along with the post.

If anyone could please send me an unedited newreply template for 6.2 I would appreciate it... When we type a reply now and try to continue we get warned that all the fields are not filled in...

I'm not sure if you guys could do this, but I would really appreciate it if someone could send me the new reply template edited to show the two items listed in my first post...

I didn't change the info on the template, the person who did isn't available right now...
