Allen's just installed the latest version for me on my site but due to the time difference we have to fire off emails to each other.

Inbetween waiting to hear back from Allen, to try and educate myself, does anyone know why the name of the last poster is not in the far right column under the time of the last post?

On the previous version the thread rating code was removed as some internet stalker kept rating everything as a 1 and it was very annoying. Could it be to do with that?

Also, there's no image next to expand and collapse which I guess is fairly straight forward but more importantly nobody can log in unless they had previously ticked 'remember me'. I'm in at the moment on this pc but I logged out on the other and I couldn't get back in. I also tried registering as a new user but it didn't want to know. I'm been hit with loads of emails from users who can't get in.

Allen hasn't finished yet but I need to learn how this works myself and feedback from you guys is appreciated. I can also discuss this with Allen who also couldn't log in earlier.

I see the categories but if I click on say REGULARS I don't get taken to that category I see the full main index

Actually looks lik ehte postlist.tmpl file might not have been updated.

Try copying a new version of postlist.tmpl into the templates folder and see if that helps.

What exactly is the error when you try to login?

Perhaps the upgrade isn't done yet... and Allen is still working on it.

I don't have the files Josh. The error is the usual cannot proceed one even though the login name and password are correct. Allen's popped out I think but it's 2.33am here and I just thought I'd do some digging before I went to bed.

Allen wasn't aware that I had edited out the thread rating before so maybe that's what has happened.

When I click on calendar I get:

Hmmmm.... it would appear that some of the new fields didn't get created.

I think U_CoppaUser was a new field back in 6.3 - but that would explain not being able to login.

OK- I got him fixed up - for some reason the U_CoppaUser field didn't get created. Once we had that all was back on track.
