I recently upgraded my web server (running threads) to RedHat 9 and shortly thereafter users began complaining that they weren't receiving their favorite posts or PM notifications via e-mail. No change was made to the database server.
I'm stumped - and it may not be a threads problem as the OS changed, not the threads software...
Threads really doesn't have much to adjust as far as email. Threads uses the standard PHP mail() function. So as long as PHP can send email, you should be set. There is a config option in your config file in case your server requires you to pass the fifth parameter when sending email.
Otherwise, look to PHP and the settings in the php.ini file for any mail settings on your server.
