At which file I can change the size of Avatars so that they would shown as wide as they are...

The max limit is in your theme file.
Existing avatars that are uploaded will have the sizes sorted in the user table.... U_PicHeight and U_PicWidth

If they are uploaded they will.  Unless they are bigger than the size you've defined in the theme file. If you're linking to them remotely, then there's no way to tell, so it uses the size in the theme file.
