I would like to customize newposts.gif and nonewposts.gif to be different for each .css stylesheet.

I understand from Brett Harris, who suggested that I ask this here, that every image if there are new posts on it since the last logged visit will be newposts.gif - so you can most likely create a little snippet of JavaScript which will decide what that image should be and put that in each stylesheet.

Would you have any idea how this could be done?
