Is there any idea on when the visited link resetting itself to unvisited problem will be addressed?

Thanks

I'm aware of no such issue. Are you talking about new post tracking?
If so - your indexes may be messed up - check the post in the announcement forum here titled "any one running 6.4". That explains how to check if the right indexes are on the w3t_last table.

I have new post tracking turned off. I guess I'm not totally clear on how this thing works. I was under the impression that the typical browser would do the duties of remembering the visited pages. I thought that post tracking was just to display the number of new posts on the front page. The way our board works, there is a lot of turnover and many subject line replies and the board usually rolls over several times a day. I did the check from the link and it was as it should be. What is happening is, you will be navigating through the forums and then you notice that a post you have already read is marked as unread. Very frustrating.

IF you've got new post tracking off - then it's off. "Partial" new post tracking turns off the numbers.

Still not sure I follow the rest of your problem. But maybe the big issue is that you've got tracking off. If that's the case then everything should always show as new.

You know it's funny I have had this happening only recently and I am running 6.3. I thought maybe it was just with my browser on this machine but a few others are having this issue

and I'll see if that fixes the problem.
