The search feature on my site sometimes stops working and pulls up all new posts no matter what your search term is. Any thoughts?

The search feature in 6.4 and higher functions like a "search" engine. So if you just type words, it uses the OR operator and you'll get Lots of results. As it'll pull up all posts containing ANY of the words you typed (not necessarily all of them). To search for a string, use quotes. And use the + and - operators with words. Hi Josh! There are times when it just doesn't work. I'll put in one word like Plantation and tons of nonresponsive threads are pulled up. A few users have been complaining lately but I couldn't recreate the problem today (although I have been able to in the past)

Generally you'd want to put +Plantation for best results - that requires all results to have the word plantation. (add the plus sign)
