I know I have seen it somewhere but can't find it:(
I need to disable registrations on our board. Does someone know how to get that done?

I loked and can't find it either but your right I have seen it mentioned.. may of been a request for though..

Odd, I thought I'd seen this in the admin panel but just looked and it's not there on either my 6.3.2 board or my 6.4.1 board. Was this a mass hallucination?

You won't find this in the admin area until 6.5 is out  Maybe you were just dreaming about 6.5

As a quick and dirty get it done immediately. Remove the newpost.php link from the ubbt_unregisterednav.tmpl and to be safe, rename newpost.php to something else. When you're ready to resume registrations, you can put it back. That's a down and dirty way to do it, but that might help you if you just need to immediately get it shut off.
