I would like to speed up the transition screen for threads. It uses the standard default header when you add a post.
Ideas to make this run more efficiently?

This may not be exactly what you are after but here's a trick to turn off headers for your forums, go into Edit or delete a forum say yes to "Use a unique header/footer for this forum? (If no, then it will use the header.php and footer.php files)". If you don't put any content in the unique header, nothing will appear.

I don't mind the headers when the posts are made. Its the transition headers I am trying to elminate. Good tip though

At what part of adding a post do you mean?

Do you mean the part after adding a post and it returns the user to the post/forum?
