In the admin panel, you can enable the rules to be showed when someone registers.

What I also did, was made a rules page using Josh's generic page and then added a link to it in the menubar.

Oh, this is what I was going to do too...
I asked before only to make sure I'm not wasting time and that function was already there !

There's already a mod for this ready to go:

It works for 6.2-6.4, but I don't know about 6.5. I think many of these BASIC mods are even being reposted because the paths to main.inc.php are wrong now because that file is now in the includes directory

In showrules.php, you'll need to replace this (which is near the top) if you are using 6.5:

require ("main.inc.php");

with:

require ("includes/main.inc.php");

Other than that it should work, though I haven't tested it.
