I have recently installed ubbthreads 6.4.2, and have made no modifications as of yet. The URL is www.phoenix-paradigm.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php.

Neither the graemlins that came with the package, nor ones that I have attempted to add display as a graphic on the posts, rather I get a text string such as . I checked the install guide, and I think that I have the permissions set properly, and I've looked around at the boards some, and I can't find an applicable post to answer the question.

I've set up a temporary threadsdev account so you can see what's happening. I just need to know why the graphics are not displaying properly.

One suggestion would be to make sure you have UBB code ON for your post. Maybe you had UBB code off, which would only cause the text string to show up in your message.

It sounds like you need to turn on "allow markup". This is on a per forum basis and is set to No by default. In your admin panel go to Edit or delete a forum then choose your forum, find Allow Markup and check yes.
