I would like to move the threads menu to my header. Now I have 2 menus and would like to consolidate them. What file(s) do I need to edit to change the standard links(My Home,Whos Online,Main index etc..) to different names or delte them altogether so I can move them to my header.(where my main site links curently are) www.spokejunkies.com so you can see what I'm talking about..Thanks

Your menus are in the ubbt_registerednav.tmpl and ubbt_unregisterednav.tmpl (in your templates directorty) you can simply remove the links from those files. Then just create add static links in your header however you choose. For example, look at the links in the two files I mentioned above for the links you need:

<a href = "$phpurl/search.php?Cat=$Cat" $target>{$ubbt_lang['TEXT_SEARCH']}</a> would be <a href = "$phpurl/search.php?Cat=$Cat" $target>{$ubbt_lang['TEXT_SEARCH']}</a>

would be the following in your static menu

<a href="http://www.yoursite.com/ubbthreads/search.php">Search </a>

The only drawback to this is that you will only have one menu for both registered and unregistered users.

CAn you elaborate on what you mean by having one menu for registerd and unregistered users? How might that affect things?

Bascially, you can set up each menu according to registered users and unregistered user i.e. remove the search from the unregistered menu, add something new only for the registered members etc.

Ok i found this in my registered users file

and I tried putting this in my header and got a page not found

I also tried inserting a $ before the front page and no dice..any ideas?

Are you just tring to get all the links under one section like this,

Basically there are 2 types. there is the one that non regged people see and one that the regged people see.

say you dont want the regged people to see who is online you would just remover the code for that link.

Then for the online people you can just add the code to the existing one.

and ubbt_unregisterednav.tmpl
