Hi,

PHP has been upgraded to 4.3.8 on one server.

At least two copies of threads running on it.

Older 6.3.x version is fine - no problems (AFAIK)
Newer 6.4 version is down (well almost down)

On the index page I can see the sidebar, I can log into admin section and update say config.inc, I can log in and out as admin - but I can't see any forums - that part of the page is blank.

My guess is that something is not compiled - but why would one version work (6.3) and another fail (6.4)

php.ini has not been changed.

The only difference between the sites is one is using Josh's search engine friendly mod.

Anyone have any thoughts as to what setting or php modules might have been left out.

Really puzzled on this one.

Also nothing has changed on the forums.

BTW - can't really post the link, as (when it is up) it contains some adult material.

If the search engine URL one is the one not working - then probably PATH_INFO isn't enabled. Meaning PHP isn't accepting anything after the .php/.

No (that was working fine) - slowly tracking down the problem

Both sites using pals - one without issues.

It appears that currentthreads was causing both the index & entrance poages to bomb out - disbaled this, and the site works normally.

Can't find anyone with a similar issue, and strange that a PHP upgrade should affect this - but it has

Anyway no big loss, not to display this.
