Hi There

Not threads related but maybe u can help anyway?

In my db i need to change a price that is on a selection of my shrubs, the price needs to change from 5.25 to 5.75

ok so my shrubs are in a column is called 'grp' and the prices are in a column called 'price'

SO I need to change the 'grp' shrubs with a price of 5.25 to a price of 5.75.

lost one piece of info.. whats the db name?

so basically it would be

UPDATE w3t_fidget SET price = '5.75' WHERE grp = 'shrubs' AND price = '5.25'

subsitute w3t_fidget for the database name

i tried to run the above with my db name added but i get an error!

so i run >> UPDATE db2768 SET price = '5.75' WHERE grp = 'shrubs' AND price = '5.25'

error says Table 'db2768.db2768' doesn't exist.

Any ideas?

you need to use the table name, so if your table is called "pricemstr"

Update pricemstr set price = '5.75' where grp = 'shrubs' and price = '5.25'
