I have set up the demo version and after less than 24 hours running live I have had enough good feedback to make me get the full version.

Heres my questions. What happens when the full version is installed, does it install over the demo or separate to the demo and would I have to import the data into the full version?

Also, I have a new domain I want to use for the full version. Can I change the relevent files through Admin panel?

What you do - is copy all the files up (over your demo) except for the main.inc.php, config.inc.php and theme.inc.php file. Then follow the instructions in UPGRADING-DEMO.txt.

Basically it'll walk you through updating versions - but you wont' have to reconfigure anything and you won't lose your data.

If you're moving it to a different server or changing the domain name, then you may need to adjust the paths/urls found in the main.inc.php file and the config.inc.php file.

I am new to threads, do I want the fully working 6.4.3 or risk it with the 6.5b4?

That would depend on how you feel about it, if you aren't going to make any modifications to it then I would say go with 6.5b4. Thanks for your thoughts people, and Monk you are right 6.5b4 does run ok most of the time

I installed 6.4.3 on Saturday because I was not sure if I could resolve any problems in 6.5. Might upgrade again in a few weeks thought
