Its been a really long time since I have even looked at code. Would you recommend wiping a huge database clean and start over or some way magically upgrade it?
The whole web page is integrated with the UBBt and I even have the old calendar stuff in it. I think that is the biggest thing I would have a problem with.
I also remember reading about a new product combingin UBBt with another forum. My question here is the OLD WWWThreads registrations and how that will work in the future.
Josh, please save me from myself!

Not sure exactly what you're asking - it is quite possible to upgrade from 6.2 series. I would start with clean (unhacked files) - follow the instructions in UPGRADING.html - make sure to run all the altertables between 6.2 and whatever version you're upgrading to. Then reapply any modifications as needed.
I'm not aware of a way to import the old calendar stuff -the 6.4 calendar works differently than the old calendar mod. But all your users and such will be fine.
What you remember reading about is that infopop is stopping development on UBB.Threads - and creating a new, different product - combining classic and threads. When that comes about - you'll be able to import your forum into that product if you wish.
