I would like to add on features such as: avitars, profiles, PMs, ez code, spell checker, email notification, etc. (I have a whole list..)

I am building a message board program that I am going to sell as a product, and I want to add these features.

Do I have to code them from scratch or is there a way to purchase royalty free features that I can integrate and customize? I have been searching the google result heap for a while with no luck trying to locate a company that provides these products for developers.

I do not want to run into legal issues later on down the road over intellectual property (copright infringement)

Your best bet is to purchase a UBB.Threads license while they are on sale.

I already have a BB that our company has built from scatch, and we are prepared to code all of our features, but I am trying to find out if there is an easier way. If some one has these features for sale that I can integrate into my product that will offer FOR SALE, please let me know.
