UBB.Developers Forums UBB.threads 7 Development How Do I? Borked 6.5 upgrade....

iI took the plunge. I did all backups of the forum. I uploaded all the files. Now when I go to myforums/install it brings up the page that asks about a new install or an upgrade. welkl of course I choose upgrade and I get "To upgrade this board, please authenticate first".

I enter that info and go to to the next page and I get header errors on the top and everyone of the textboxes are all asking to authenticate first again. each box...

That window in a window thing there is suspicious. Make sure you uploaded everything. It would seem you're missing a few files that would be included inside the windows. So you're probably missing others.

You might also want to look at your generic english language file - it seems to contain some whitespace at the top or bottom that's causing problems.

Some of the files were uploading with the wrong permissions too. I made sure it was set to "auto" and re-uploaded everything again. no problem since.
