All users on my forums are seeing a white page before they go into the "my home" section. The current links are Control Panel · My Home · Main Index · Search · Active Topics . Who's Online · FAQ · User List · Arcade Room · Calendar when they use any link there it goes straight to the page with no problems. But when we click on the "my home" link it seems to pass through the "log-in" page (which is causing a white page to flash for about 2 seconds) before going into the home section. This is the link that shows before going into my homs section. http://www.mysite.org/login.php?Cat=0&myhome=1 is this a norm?

my home is done differently now. It's a page with a meta refresh tag to redirect them - so depending on the connection, you will have a bit of a lag there.

Its not mbad from home. I have extreme dsl so its hardly noticeable. The 56k'ers are really hating it.

Yeah, personally I don't like the dealy either. Not sure why it wasn't done with a header("Location: http://..."); type of redirect.

I suppose you could change the link to go directly to myhome.php. I did that in ubbt_registerednav.tmpl

I am curious why they have the meta refresh on myhome.php now?
What is affected by going directly to the page? (because I have not looked at that new piece of code yet!)

Actually - I remember asking that once, as apposed to a header(location function. And I think it had to do with getting the cookies set after login?
