We have done everything asked, or so we think, and ran the install file. Now we get the following errors:

Warning: main(/ubbt.inc.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/winnie/public_html/ubbthreads/includes/main.inc.php on line 13

Warning: main(): Failed opening '/ubbt.inc.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/winnie/public_html/ubbthreads/includes/main.inc.php on line 13

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getmicrotime() in /home/winnie/public_html/ubbthreads/includes/main.inc.php on line 16

We have since searched, and changed the permissions to wider in the languages folders, but this error still appears.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I'm not sure about 6.5, but in 6.3 both ubbt.inc.php
and main.inc.php go in your main threads folder, and not in the includes sub-folder.

Okay, those are moved over. We now get these errors:

Warning: main(./includes/main.inc.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/winnie/public_html/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php on line 23

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required './includes/main.inc.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/winnie/public_html/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php on line 23

I can't recall any file pointing to the includes folder at all, so I have no idea which it is that's trying to do this.

Thanks.

Perhaps it's supposed to be in the include folder after all then, I really can't help because I don't use 6.5

Hopefully someone else who does can provide further assistance.

I've hacked the main.inc.php file to remove the references to the includes folder. My guess is that it's not converted correctly to 6.5, as I now have these errors:

[]Script: /home/winnie/public_html/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php
Line#: 296
SQL Error: Unknown column 'Cat_Entry' in 'field list'
SQL Error #: 1054
Query: SELECT Cat_Title,Cat_Entry,Cat_Description FROM w3t_Category WHERE Cat_Type = 'forum' ORDER BY Cat_Number

Please use your back button to return to the previous page.[/]

This is a new one on me. At the bottom of the forum, the version is still 6.4.2, and I have no idea what's going on!

In that case the upgrade wasn't installed correctly I'm afraid, which would explain all these errors.

You did back everything up before upgrading, right? You may need to redo it over again.

In 6.5 all the include files should be in 'includes' - except ubbt.inc.php which remains in the root.

Did you accidentally overwrite the main.inc.php or config.inc.php file? The path in your error is empty - it should be the path to your threads install.

Then you need to run the upgrade utility.

I see what is was now. Somehow, there were two main.inc.php files in there. One was in the ubbthreads index, and another in includes. All upgraded to 6.5 now
