I would need the french language pack for 6.4 to synchroinize it with the 6.5 so that the tranlation of the rest of the phrazes can be done.

Who can email it to me?

Nobody has the language packs of the 6.4 version? I don't belive this!

I have something else that could help you Anno; After our discussion at UBBCentral I now have a script that merges the newest english language files with as much information as possible from the old and outdated translations. The result is written to new and complete language files with partly english and partly translated Wordlets, ready for your translation job.

I have no idea yet where to provide this script and its results (maybe best here at Threadsdev), and it needs a bit more fine tuning, but the first results look promising! If I had the 6.4 files I should be able to provide you with up-to-date merged files.

This is great! Unfortunately I already did this for the french language by hand(well with the help of a compare programm, so it didn't took me long...)

OK...my post has been declined because I didn't upload the file as an attachmnet.
Yet:
The attachment is 103 kb, and the upload limit is ONLY 100 kb, so it is effectively impossible to upload the language files(in one piece)!!!
Very disappointing.

upload the admin files as a zip and the language files seperately like they did for the German ones

I KNOW it is possible to do this, it is just that I don't WANT to do this since I shouldn't have to do this.

They upped the attachment size limit to 2 MB after all this, BTW .

So as you see, it pays off to not always just do what is possible but instead seek for the more convenient.
