The file you have to edit is templates/default/myhome.tmpl

but can i put a mysql quiry in a template file ??

You can, but you would have to end the print part and start it again after the php code.
Better put the query into the myhome.php file and then save the outputs in a variable, which you then put into the template file.

there is no myhome.php file ???
