I KNOW this has been covered before, but I cannot seem to find it now in the searches I've run (and I checked the Useful SQL Queries thread, but didn't see what I was looking for in there).

I want to change the subject of some threads that are getting moved from one board to another (in 6.4). I can manually change the parent/original post for each thread, but all the replies still have the original subject, so I want to change all the replies that link to that parent at once with a SQL command.

1) For the first post in a thread, use this...

UPDATE w3t_Posts
SET B_Subject = "blabla"
WHERE B_Number = 1234

2) Then for replies, use this...

UPDATE w3t_Posts
SET B_Subject = "Re: blabla"
WHERE B_Main = 1234
AND B_Number <> 1234
