Is there any way to prevent people from changing the subject of a thread in Threads 6.5?

This should be pretty simple... just a matter of editing the reply form(s) to use a hidden field instead of the text box...

That's what I thought, but I looked at "newreply.php" and don't have a clue where to start.

You'd want newreply.tmpl instead.

the problem is - someone could make a newreply, and then go back in and EDIT that reply, and change the topic again to something else - to to nothing at all ("RE: ")

[] Charles Capps said:You'd want newreply.tmpl instead. [/] Thanks, it worked fine. I was going to change it in "editpost.tmpl" also, but that would prevent the original poster from changing his own subject if he wished to do so before anyone had a chance to reply. Changing it in newreply.tmpl should be sufficient. Thanks again.
