For some reason the thread is showing up in both forums after using the "Move Thread" option under the manage list. I recall this happening a while ago and I deleted the thread in one of the forums and it deleted both.

I am using version 6.5

Any ideas?

The same happened to me when using the admin panel
I ended up with the thread on two forums

Also noted that it is imposoible to select the posts you want moved or not moved if your search for threrads to move and the results include more than one page

Yep. I did try and unstick them, but it made no difference.

thats the only time I ever ran across that issue was with sticky posts.. so I make sure to unsticky before moving.

yep, always un-sticky before any move is made. for me it just said it moved the post bt it didnt and then made it so no one had permission to view it.... it was a bad day when that happened...

You may need to checkt the w3t_Announcements table and make sure that there's not a double entry for that post number.
