Ok, I finally got through the UbbThreads demo install, with a missing install folder. That was fun…
Here is a really stupid question. Why don’t I see the Control Panel? What is it and what part of the install did I miss?
I navigate to the admin folder and try to launch the main, but it says I am not logged in as the Admin. I thought the first user created was the Admin.
Basically I want to setup a forum and I do not have the capability because I can’t get to the admin folder.
Any suggestions…
Thanks

Hmm you have phpMyAdmin or another tool to view the databases with? Make sure it even created user #2.. User #1 is actually the super admin that basically no one ever logs into.

User #1 is the guest account for unregistered users, without any admin rights.

No it's some kind of placeholder user. All anonymous posts are assigned to #1. User #2 is the super admin.
