I have noticed that on my website, when you hit the back button, the post tracking and everything else updates automatically. Like, if I make a post, and hit back to go to the thread, my post is there. Here at Threadsdev, I would have to refresh the page to update things.
I'm not complaining about this phenomenon - I rather like it - but it does seem to be the cause of something about which I have been getting complaints. When a user clicks back to return to, say, the postlist page, it returns them to the top of the page instead of where they were in the page. I believe this is tied in when the reloading that the pages are doing automatically upon hitting the back button.
Since this doesn't happen here, it has inclined me to think it is a server-level "feature" and I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction as to how to "turn it off."
