are any of you experiancing heavy load with ubb.threads on your servers? We are getting out of memory errors due to httpd working with a mysqld (ubb.threads is the only thing that uses MySQL on our server)It gets to the point where the whole server locks up.
Our board is rather large (70,000+ posts, & nearly 7,000 users). and can have 100 up to 200 people on it within a short time span.
Our machine only has 1 gig of ram, does anybody know if this is enough ram to run this type & size of a webboard? Or does ubb.threads just fold under pressure.

I know I am using 1 gig as well and many times mysqld down. Now I am upgrading to mysql 4.0 and it seems okay. But I need to add more memory to at least 2 gig.

If you have a shell acount try type: du - ch and see what directories are taking big spaces. Try to delete those files (if not important, or move to other disk). Our server's performance improved by 5,000% or more... https://www.ubbdev.com/forum/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=127886
