Member Can't change profile info

I am running UBBT 6.5.1 and have a member who can;t change their profile info (i.e., password or email address, for example). It seems they are doing things correctly and clicking the submit button, but their profile does not update. He is using a PC eith IE6. I am at a loss as to why he ccan't change his profile info. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
