Let's start with some "behind the scenes" information on yourself. What is your background, how long have you been on the web?

IXGZ
Well, I've been on the web for about 4 years now.
My first ISP was AOL. At that time I used AOL's easy page designer to create my first webpage. That didn't have many features so, I moved to angelfire, which was great back then. I used angekfire for about 2 years. I became good at HTML. So a friend hosted me on his domain and I created a decent page which lasted a while. The server which my page was on shutdown. I went though 8 formats. Later I got hosted on my friends new server, and I got a domain (IXGZ.COM). It is supposed to be a gaming site soon, but in the meanwhile its a Comptuer Tech Support site.
UBBDEV
AMD or Intel?

IXGZ

Athlon. It's faster.

UBBDEV
For sure! What do you like and dislike most about UBB™?
IXGZ: What I like about UBB is that its so easy to customize. You can make the UBB look like anything. What I don't like is all the upgrades. Infopop should just realese 1 version at a time. No 6.04a,b,c,d. Its 6 now. 7 Later.

UBBDEV
Have you ever j-walked?

IXGZ
Not really...

UBBDEV
Admit it! You've j-walked, haven't you?

IXGZ
I want all my limbs.

UBBDEV
We'll go with that..

UBBDEV
How do you keep your site "fresh"
and keep the visitors coming back?

IXGZ
To keep things fresh, I try to have something on my site thats unique. Something noone else has. And I keep everything easy to find.

UBBDEV
Excellent point! What's the one UBB™ mod that you like the best? And the
one your users like the best?
IXGZ
The best is the compact footers. I like having everything in tables. My users probably like whos online.

IXGZ
We haven't got that many users right now because the boards are brand new.

UBBDEV
Are there any "tricks of the trade" you'd like to share with UBBers so they can benefit from your experience?

IXGZ
First of all, everyones going to start off slow. So start your ubb with the simple mods. Then as you get along use the whos online and memberlist and all the other tough ones. You will see that its easy to customize the UBB. Then give the link to the ubb to your friends and tell them to give it to some of their friends..and go on and on and on.

UBBDEV
Thanks for your time!
