What's New at ThreadsDev?

And the one everyone has been waiting for...

6.5 includes a new rewritten control panel, improved member management, improved group management, moderator management, improved forum and category management, new upgrade system, new backup system, importers, content islands, search engine friendly URLs and more!!! 6.5 is AWESOME!!!

I am a professional - don't try this at home. LOL

It's a bit of work to move the mods - it was easier from beta 6 to final than from 6.4 to 6.5. I used comparison software. But I'm also pretty familiar with the code.... I do LOTS of upgrades.

The fanny pack has nothing to do with it - I only wear a Fanny Pack at Disney World.

I noticed in the member area that the download was for the english version only. Is an international download coming soon or did I miss something along the way?

No - only US English ( ) is being released - all other languages may be available on http://www.ubbcentral.com - look for the 'The Trading Post' - essentially Infopop are now encouraging users to maintain the foreign languages.

The fanny pack is not something you wear, it is a way of life. The fanny pack will be with you, always.

Can we expect a 6.5.1 to be released soonish? Almost every major release of UBB.Threads for the last two years has been followed with a point release not too long after fixing some bugs or other small things that slipped by the beta testing. I've been planning on holding off on upgrade until that. Are there any plans for 6.5.1 already in the works, or is this release -that- solid?

I just upgraded my account with Infopop for another year as I've been very pleased with the software and this site for a huge success of my site.

Gang, please do post up some tips, thoughts, etc on the upgrading from 6.4 to 6.5.

Yes, backing up now.....

I'd like to read more on this upgrade prior to actually doing it.

Thanks again....

Fixing the big new post tracking bug - along with the other bugs which have been posted. No new features/functionality that I'm aware of - just maintenance fixes.

I don't know - but they are testing b3 at ubbcentral, so hopefully that's a good sign.
